Once a crappie nibble will be in the water it will then be dissolved giving off distinctive smell that will attract crappies and which appears to be making them belligerent. In short, these crappie nibbles can make a crappie go wild. These crappie nibbles comes in different colors such as chartreuse, yellow, platinum, red, and even with sparkles that you can buy in almost all sporting goods stores or fishing gear stores in different brand names as well. This is in connection with a crappie which are known to scale off a minnow before eating it, so the speck in the water are to let the crappie assume that there are minnows that has been eaten on that specific location.

Letting the jar open for a while when fishing would be a small intervention to deal with nibbles preventing it from being messy. This intervention would dry up the outer surface portion of the nibble to prevent it from sticking into your hands and to make it easy when putting it on a hook.
